Well last time with my son being born prematurely, we were not prepared at all and just chucked anything and everything into bags for hospital. I even packed my Nintendo DS into my labour bag in case I got bored!!! Little did I know!

Well this time, I am organised :-)

I am 38 weeks and my bags have been packed for a good few weeks.

For anyone interested this is what I have packed:

Labour Bag

Snacks - chocolate, nuts, hard boiled lollies etc.

Drinks - gaterade for me, red bull for hubby!

Socks - your feet get so cold!

Lip Balm

Massage oil - my mum is an aromatherapist and she made an oil up for me

Swimmers for hubby in case I end up in the shower

Maternity pads

Undies - black of course!

Camera - with spare batteries

Hair lackeys to tie my hair up

Hospital Bag

2 sets of PJs

Dressing gown

Slippers

2 changes of clothes for hospital day wear and coming home

Maternity Pads - 2 packs

Breast Pads

2 maternity bras

LOADS of undies!!!

Clothes for bub - 2 lots in 4 zeros - singlets & rompers plus beanies and mittens

Wrap for baby

Cloth nappy squares for vomits!

Pillow - I like to take my own pillow everywhere

Change for vending machine

Toilet Paper!! I use the nice soft stuff, not that scratchy stuff at the hospital!

Toiletries - tooth brush/paste, hair brush, hair lackeys, minitures of shampoo etc.

Nipple Cream

Nappies for baby - one pack of newborn size

Wipes for baby

Body wash for baby

Phew! Think thats it!!!

Last time I packed singlet tops with the hidden support and found them useful when breastfeeding.
